Sprouted Ragi Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Kiddy Spoon Sprouted Ragi Powder
  • 1 cup water

Optional (for babies above 8 months):

  • Palm jaggery powder
  • Mashed banana
  • A little milk

Preparation

  1. Take 2 tbsp ragi powder in a bowl.
  2. Add a little water and mix well (no lumps).
  3. Pour the mixture into a pan and add the remaining 1 cup water.
  4. Cook on low flame while stirring continuously.
  5. Cook for 5–7 minutes until it becomes smooth porridge.
  6. Add palm jaggery / mashed banana / milk if needed.
  7. Cool slightly and feed the baby.
Age Recommendation: 6+ months 👶

Millet Grain Porridge Recipe

Millet Grain Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Kiddy Spoon Millet Grain Mix
  • 1 cup water

Optional:

  • Palm jaggery syrup
  • Mashed apple
  • Mashed carrot

Preparation

  1. Take 2 tbsp millet mix in a bowl.
  2. Add little water and mix to avoid lumps.
  3. Pour into a pan and add remaining water.
  4. Cook on medium-low flame for 6–8 minutes.
  5. Stir continuously until it becomes thick and soft.
  6. Add mashed fruit or palm jaggery for taste.
  7. Let it cool before feeding.
